Roundtable on environmental issues in Bansko

Bansko celebrated the Day of energy with a series of events designed to inform the public about measures taken to protect the environment.

On 25th and 26th March were presented films showing climate change and emerging in connection with this energy problems. To the citizens they were given a thematic lecture on renewable energies, energy efficiency and global climate change.

The theme of the roundtable organized on this occasion was, Energy Management of social and administrative buildings in the Municipality of Bansko. The workshop brought together representatives of local, natural and public safety organizations in Bansko.

Discussed were issues related to gasification of Bansko municipal infrastructure, solid waste management and energy efficiency in public buildings. Citizens were familiar with the project "Green Systems" associated with the planting of Bansko.

Environmental protection and improvement of the tourism structure have priority in the work of the municipality.
