Low Cost Flights to Bulgaria for the Winter Season
Ryanair, Irelands discount airline, celebrated its inaugural flight from London Stansted, UK to Plovdiv, Bulgaria on the 2nd November 2010. The direct route provides British tourists with a quicker and easier transfer to ski resorts, Bansko, Pamporovo and Borovets.
For the celebration of Ryanairs first Bulgarian route, Ryanair from midnight of the 2nd November released 1 million seats for the cost of 6 GBP. The seats will be available on flights departing, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in December and January.
All taxes and charges are included in the low fare costs and are available until midnight this Thursday on over 500 European routes.
Laura McCormack from Ryanair explains of how delighted the Ryanair crew was to celebrate the start of the first Bulgarian route from London Stansted to Plovdiv. Laura noted that the service will be available twice a week on Saturdays and Thursdays. Fares start from 17.00 GBP one way inclusive of taxes.
Bulgaria’s second largest city boasts of a history that dates back 8, 000 years. Plovdiv also has a lot to offer as a city break destination and is perfectly located in respect of the three ski resorts.
Paul Haynes who works at Stansted Airport showed his delight with Ryanair opening up the new Bulgarian Route. Winter sport lovers now have a convenient access point to Europe’s best resorts.
