Earthquake in Bansko

According to the Seismology center of the Geophysical Institute of BAN, on 18th of October 2008, at 23.38 p. m. an earthquake with epicenter about 90 km south from Sofia was registered - announced the General National Service “Civil protection” of the Ministry of Extraordinary Situations.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 2, 9. It was lightly felt in Bansko municipality and in the region of Blagoevgrad. There are no victims and material damages.
