Bansko Municipality builds a hospital

On October 28 held the regular monthly meeting of Bansko Municipal Council. One of the points at the meeting was allowing a deviation of the indicators in the central city area, namely roof cornice height of 12 m. in conjunction with the design and construction of the hospital in Bansko.

At the meeting attended investor Dr. Ivo Chilingirov and one of the architects of the project arch. Hristo Chepilev. They explained the departments of the hospital and the need for a medical facility in Bansko Municipality.

The main architect of Bansko Municipality, Arch. Sagrev, was present as well. He explained to the attendees that all requirements have been met, a change of 12 m. roof cornice height is permissible. After the unanimous opinion of the city council and the gathered votes for the construction of the hospital, it became clear that the first dig of the hospital will be made until the end of the year. The hospital will start functioning in 3 years.

The hospital will cost about 10 million leva. Bansko Municipality will have no part in the construction and management of the hospital.
