Construction in Bansko banned

The ban of construction in Bansko, which will be valid by the end of the active tourist season, becomes effective today.

The ban has been issued by Bansko Mayor Alexander Kravarov.

The new tourist season was officially opened on November 29.

A guest of the opening was the ski legend Gustavo Toeni from Italy - four time winner of the Ski World Cup - Alpine disciplines.

Representatives of the big ski family Ventzel from Lichtenstein attended the opening - the Olympic champion from 1980 Hani Ventzel and her brother Andreas, winner of the Olympic silver medal, as well as other famous sportsmen and alpinists from Poland, Norway and other countries.
