Professor Chavdar Dobrev presents a new book about Vaptsarov

Professor Chavdar Dobrev presents a new book about the poet revolutionary Nikola Vaptsarov. Reason is the 99th anniversary from the birth of the great bulgarian poet. The presentation is 18:00 in the culture hall Nikola Vaptsarov in Bansko.

The book is a crossroads of views. It is a discussion on the authentic image of the poet revolutionary. The author reveals world of Vaptsarov in four rounds: the poet and his inquisitor, his destiny duel, his suffering and desires.

Chavdar Dobrev is born on 21st of August 1933 in Yambol. He has a degree from the Budapest University. He workes for many years in the Institute of Arts at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia. He has published over 30 books.
