Special Wine Venue Opens in Bulgaria’s Bansko Winter Resort
A special wine restaurant – the first and only of its kind, opened in Bansko recently.
The so-called ‘vinotheque’ is part of the Perun hotel complex. Unlike most of the eating and drinking establishments in Bansko, which attract clients with drinks, food and atmosphere that are traditional for the region, the new wine restaurant is geared towards offering a rich spectre of wines combined with the refined and light culinary creations of the chef Valentin Vasilev.
The new place will be promoting Bulgarian wine, served with snacks prepared in the Mediterranean style, Frank Romano, the hotel complex managed, told media recently. In addition to Bulgarian traditional products, guests will have a choice of Italian cheeses and seafood, while the wine list includes over 70 types of wines from Bulgaria, Europe, South Africa and South America.
