World ski elit surprised by culinary exibition

World ski elit already arrived in Bansko. They wereexpected to be guests at the folk show This is Bansko late last night.

Long tables with the typical bansko cuisine were arranged at the main square of Nikola Vaptsarov. Several folk singers took care for the music arrangement. Foreigners in the city didn't hide their surprise by the delicious meals.

Taverns and hotels in Bansko presented his best delicacies in the culinary exhibition. There was chicken and milk-banitsa with Turkish delight, chomlek, kapama, beans with fat, roasted piglets, Bansko black pudding, salads.

As for the ambience of the Eastern European resort, U.S. Women's Head Coach Jim Tracy said: "Bansko feels more like a city than a village, people are super-friendly and more than willing to help. All of the teams are staying in the same hotel in Bansko and it was a long process to check in late Tuesday night after flying from Munich to Sofia and taking vans and buses to Bansko.
