European Biathlon Championship will be held in Bansko

From 20 to 26 February next year’s European Biathlon Championship will be held in Bansko. The competition will be for men, women, boys and girls.

The event is expected to host about 35 countries in the town of Bansko. Application forms to the coin are submitted by seven teams.

The main financial means for the competition came from the Ministry of Sports, the total budget amounts between 600 and 700 thousand Levs.

Ekaterina Dafovska BFBiatlon president expressed her joy that the men's team is currently doing well and has a chance of winning the four quotas for the Olympic Games in Sochi.
