Petition to expand the ski zone in Bansko

20 days ago, in Bansko was established a Committee of local public officials and businessmen, who initiated a petition related to accelerating the launch of legislative changes to complete the ski zone in Bansko.

In a brief period of time, eight thousand signatures were collected from the citizens and guests of the resort. The president of the union of tourism, who is also chairman of the committee in Bansko, Malin Bistrin handed over the collected signatures to Mayor Georgi Ikonomov.

The mayor, along with members of the committee will present the collected signatures to the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Boiko Borisov.

Ikonomov said he stands firmly behind the people and that the petition can make the voice of the people living in Bansko heard. According to the mayor, the people supporting the development of tourism and investments are much more in numbers.
