Familiarizing Razlog Schoolchildren with Kuker Traditions

With the upcoming Kuker festival Starchevata, students from "Saints Cyril and Methodius" elementary school visited the workshop of Dimitar Parapunov, where they were made familiar with the traditions of the ritual.

The idea of the initiative is to present the youngsters with the traditions that need to be preserved.

The master showed the schoolchildren how to craft Kuker costumes and items.

The kids were incredibly pleased with what they saw and appreciated the exhibit, preserved by the old Razlog residents. The students showed a liking for all of the traditions related to Kukeri.
