Banski Starcheta Received the Highest Honors at 2 Folklore Festivals

Bansko residents have a reason to be joyous and proud yet again. The youth folk singing group Banski Starcheta performed at the Nikola Vaptsarov Auditorium in 2 separate musical events and they outdid themselves once more.

The talented youths from Bansko showed their talent at the 2nd Annual Folklore Festival in the village of Eleshnitsa, as well as at the 9th Annual Men's Folklore Group Festival in the neighboring town of Razlog. Both of these events were aimed at preserving and spreading Bulgarian traditional folklore to the public.

After their notable performance, the group left the town beneath Todorka with standing ovations. They earned the award for best youth group at the festival in Razlog and won 1st place among the folklore singing groups at the other musical event.
