Nikolina Angelkova: Bansko Among the Top Ski Tourism Destinations

"One of the top 10 best destinations for ski tourism in Europe is the Bansko resort, " announced Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova upon her visit to the town.

Angelkova announced that she fully supports the building of a 2nd ski cabin lift, as well as other machinery that will make Bansko able to fully compete with other mountain resorts.

The minister added that unlike other winter resorts, Bansko is marking an annual growth in tourist numbers, with a 5% growth last season. The drop in Russian visitors has been compensated by Turkish, Greek, Romanian and Macedonian tourists.

Turkish citizens have been granted all sorts of visa facilitation, to make their travels to Bulgaria easier.
