Veteran Biathletes from Bansko Launched the Season

Veteran biathletes from the town of Bansko kicked things off in the new season with their successful performance at the Summer Biathlon National Championship, which was held last weekend in the town of Troyan.

The ladies from the women's club of biathlon veterans competed spectacularly.

The three contestants Mariana Dumanova, Irena Gulubova and Radka Popova blew away their competition in the qualification rounds and with great vigor and precision shooting, claimed the golden medals and cups.

The men's team, composed of Georgi Zlatev, Hristo Vodenicharov and Ivan Kehayov, also performed well.

The biathlete men got over the qualifiers successfully, taking a prestigious 6th place in the finals.
