Alpine Club in Bansko Demonstrates Rock Climbing

The Alpine club Nikolai Proev from Bansko made a skillful demonstration of rock climbing near Peshterite, near the resort town.

The demonstrations by the mountain climbers was in honor of the 102nd year anniversary of the Liberation of Bulgaria. The warm weather and delightful autumn sun transformed the sport event into a holiday of agility, strength and skill.

Students from Aleko Konstantinov High School in Bansko also showed enviable skills in the field of mountaineering and rock-climbing, who are training to be mountain guides.

The event was also honored by the mayor of Bansko, Georgi Ikonomov, who observed the young mountaineers with interest.
