Theatrical Festivities to Liven Up Razlog at the End of June

At the end of June the theater arts will take over Razlog. From June 24-30, some of the best plays will be performed as part of the theater festival program "Stars of Theater". The goal of the event is to solidify Razlog's position as a cultural center, attracting more tourists.

The festival is being held for the 4th year, with organizers being city hall and the actress Nona Iotova. Loads of tourists are expected to fill the town, with the majority of visitors traditionally coming from Sofia, Gotse Delchev, Sandanski and Blagoevgrad.

The festival will be given its official opening June 24 by Kamen Doven with his concert performance Orchesturchi. After him, the actors from Small Town Theater and Marius Kurkinski will be up on stage.

Diverse performances will please guests, with the finale to the theatrical evenings taking place on June 30th with the play Bella Donna by Aleko Konstantinov Satirical Theatre.
